Wonder

I wonder what motivates people.

Is it the unknown feeling of accomplishment? Or may be the urge to know the unknown? What is unknown? Everything that we do not know, and it is so much. One lifetime is too less to know everything there is. People don’t even roam around the entire world and yet there have been quite a few who have roamed the moon. They have seen the earth in its entirety, in its little existence that seems so big to us who live on it. Continue reading

Surprised, not so much.

I have been surprised multiple times today. So much that I have had to take out time to put it in writing because I didn’t want to lose the essence of this feeling that is with me since last night. It feels as if I am on a constant high since the two beers I had last night. By the way, I rarely drink more than one 50 cl each night when I am in Dubai.

I am surprised by the amount of energy I am showing of late at work. Taking back to back flights for work, working tirelessly, getting responsibilities like never before and ending up getting things done, one way or another. Future has never looked busier, if not better. Continue reading

Endnote

The way people end a relationship tells a lot about the other party in it. Their reactions at the very end are mere reflections of each other when it all boils down to the level of extracting salt and chlorine from the days they spent together, and largely enjoyed.

I fell in love with you at the first sight. No doubt you were a mess, but I saw the beauty in you and took it upon myself to bring out the best in you. People say I have succeeded in doing so. They say you look great now, much better than ever. I practiced several details inside my head before I shared my wisdom with you.

Now, that I am leaving you, I am worried a bit. Continue reading

Back Again

How do I justify myself of my ignorance towards regular writing?

All I have written are two posts in the last one year. This is crazy. I haven’t been so busy, I have just stopped caring about it. This is unacceptable. There have been times when I have handled a lot on my plate, have bit into more than I could chew and swallow but during none of those times in the past year I have given preference to write.

Why? This is the question I ask myself today and have no answer to, not yet. Continue reading

Biggest Question

In continuation with “Bigger Question

Do you remember what I asked? I asked, “Can you be silent?”

Silence is hated because it is in abundance. If you believe you hardly get time to be silent or you hardly find anyone sitting silently, you are looking at things in a much smaller perspective.

Noise, sound doesn’t break the silence. It is the silence that breaks the noise. Silence is brave enough to exist among the interval between the two noises. It is everywhere. Without silence, there could be no rhythm in music. Without silence, no work of art can ever be accomplished. Without silence, no journey can be made. Silence is outside, silence is inside. Jumbled

Of all the shapes I see around me everyday, only circles and triangles seem to the truthful ones. Its because circles and triangles exist naturally everywhere.

I see the very first natural circles when I see myself in the mirror every morning, they are my eyes. They are circular, the pupils are circular, the iris is circular as well and as far as science knows, the retina is also circular, and not to forget people who generally choose circular glasses, I am sure circular glasses must be more helpful for vision than rectangular ones because circular glasses collect equal amount of rays coming from the circular sun and pass them on to the eyes. As a fact, Steve Jobs & Mahatma Gandhi wore circular glasses and both died much before their time, but both changed the world around them before their deaths. Continue reading

Creation

It was raining for the last two days, and from the last two days, two boys were trying to get some money at their hands to eat a good meal.

“Sun must be shining behind the clouds but look at the road here”, Mark kicked the water with his right foot and continued, “looks good enough to sail off a new ship into Thames!”

“Wouldn’t it be awful for a ship to pass through Oxford street? I mean where will all these people go?” Steve had a mix of confusion and irritation in his tone.

“You know you are such a bad company for a person like me”, Mark shook his head in disgust.

“You know I was exactly thinking the same!”, Steve punched him on his shoulder and laughed. Continue reading
